The Drac de Vilafranca is one of the oldest and most representative festive figures in Catalonia. With origins dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries, the Drac is an inseparable part of the Festa Major of Vilafranca del Penedès, filling the streets of the town with fire and excitement every 31st of August.
